The app. Lightning File Grabber runs entirely on your Mac. It has no accounts and no servers, and it doesn’t collect analytics. Your videos, browsing history and logins stay on your Mac. Sign-in details used to reach a video are kept only until the download finishes, then deleted.

Updates. To check for updates, the app downloads a small file from lightningfilegrabber.com. That request includes your app version and macOS version, like any web request. It isn’t linked to you.

This website. This site doesn’t use cookies or analytics. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page, time) for security, for a limited time.

Downloads. The app is downloaded from this website, so the same server logs apply.
